Barcelona is Dressed by Custo & Desigual
Last weekend I went to Barcelona for a friend’s wedding and I just realized that Barcelona’s style is very Custo and Desigual.
The style of these two brands are quite alike, though Desigual has more approachable prices; lots of colours, original t-shirts, whimsical patterns and designs, modern, etc. They are similar enough that Custo has sued Desigual for copyright.
Walking through Barcelona I saw these two brand’s clothes everywhere as they are easy to recognize, and many people wear them. The most popular pieces now are Desigual’s coats and jackets.
The colours and designs have become an identifying look for this modern city and ambassadors of its culture and people worldwide, as these are now available in several markets. Julia Robert’s made Custo pretty popular when she worn one of his t-shirt in the movie “Runaway Bride”.

I really love their designs and they represent prefectly modern Spain!
